Divalent Cation Tolerant Protein CUTA (Chromosome 6 Open Reading Frame 82, LOC51596)

CUTA, is the 179 amino acid mammalian homolog of the cutA E. coli protein and is ubiquitously expressed, particularly in brain tissue. CUTA is thought to be involved in cellular tolerance to a wide variety of divalent cations other than copper. The CUTA protein is a cytoplasmic protein, encoded by the single-gene operon and has been linked to divalent cation tolerance.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nWestern Blot: 1:500\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nRecommended Secondary Antibodies:\nI1906: IgY, Chicken Pab Rb x Ch \nI1906-10: IgY, Chicken-HRP Rb x Ch \nI1906-12: IgY, Chicken-FITC Rb x Ch \nI1906-14: IgY, Chicken-AP Rb x Ch\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
