DUSP18 is a 188aa protein belonging to the protein-tyrosine phosphatase family and contains one tyrosine-protein phosphatase domain. DUSP18 appears to serve an important role in the regulation of the SAPK/JNK pathway. It dephosphorylates p-nitrophenyl phosphate (pNPP) and has the ability to dephosphorylate both phospho-tyrosyl and phospho-seryl/threonyl residues that play important roles in the regulation of mitogenic signal transduction and control the cell cycle. It is expressed in liver, brain, ovary and testis. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:100-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
