DSH-homolog 3 may play a role in the signal transduction pathway mediated by multiple Wnt genes. It is a cytoplasmic protein that belongs to the DSH family. It contains a DEP domain, a DIX domain and a PDZ (DHR) domain. It interacts through its PDZ domain with the C-terminal regions of VANGL1 and VANGL2. The unprocessed precursor has a length of 716 amino acids and an estimated molecular weight of 78kD.
