Dystrophin is a large cytoskeletal protein (426kD) found at the inner surface of muscle fibres. Dystrophin is part of the dystrophin glycoprotein complex (DGC), which bridges the inner cytoskeleton (F actin) and the extracellular matrix. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot . Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (formalin and paraffin): 2.0-4.ug/ml Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
