S1PR1 (Sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor 1) is also known as Endothelial differentiation G-protein coupled receptor 1. It is the receptor for, and binds to, the lipid signaling molecule Sphingosine 1-phosphate (S1P) with high affinity and specificity, and is suggested to be involved in regulatory processes of differentiation of endothelial cells and cell-cell adhesion. S1P is a bioactive lysophospholipid that elicits diverse physiological effect on most types of cells and tissues. This inducible epithelial cell G-protein-coupled receptor may be involved in the processes that regulate the differentiation of endothelial cells. It seems to be coupled to the G (i) subclass of heteromeric G proteins.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nWestern Blot: 4-6ug/ml\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
