EDG-1 also called S1P1 or S1PR1 is a widely expressed, 37-40kD, G protein coupled receptor within the S1P subfamily of the EDG family. EDG-1 is one of five receptors for the bioactive lipid S1P and mediates most of S1P effects on angiogenesis, vascular maturation, and cell migration, especially T cell egress from lymphoid organs. Human and mouse EDG-1 share 84% aa identity within the N-terminal extracellular portion used as an immunogen.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nFlow Cytometry: 2.5ug labels 10e6\nImmunohistochemistry: 8-25ug/ml\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
