EHD1, or EH-domain containing 1, belongs to a highly conserved family of EPS15 homology (EH) domain-containing proteins. The protein-binding EH domain was first noted in EPS15, a substrate for the epidermal growth factor receptor. The EH domain has been shown to be an important motif in proteins involved in protein-protein interactions and in intracellular sorting. EHD1 is thought to play a role in the endocytosis of IGF1 receptors. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:100 Western Blot: 1:10,000-1:50,000 Immunocytochemistry: 1:100-1:250 Immunoprecipitation: 1:10-1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Manufactured incorporating RabMAb(R) technology under Epitomics US patents, No 5,675,063 and 7,429,487, owned by Abcam.
