Embryonic Stem Cell Culture Media, Mouse (mES)

Mouse ES Cell Culture Media is a complete ready-to-use media that can be used to complement traditional murine Embryonic Stem (ES) cell culture media containing Leukemia Inhibitory Factor (murine LIF). In contrast to routine ES cell culture using murine LIF supplemented medium, mES culture medium is recommended for a number of specialized applications.\n\nKit Components:\nmES Culture Medium, 1x250ml\nFiberglass Prefilter, 1x70mm\n\nMaterials Not Supplied:\n1. Sterile L-Glutamine solution (200mM)\n2. Cellulose Acetate, PVDF or PES filter\n3. Murine LIF\n\nStorage and Stability:\nUpon receipt, mES Cell Culture Medium should be stored at -20 degrees C until required for use.\nWhen stored properly, product is stable until the expiration date stated on the label. Once\nopened, the unused portion can be stored at 4 degrees C for at least 4 weeks. Protect from light\nduring storage. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. It is recommended that the product be discarded following expiry. Be aware that the addition of certain supplements can effect product stability and characteristics.\n\nTurbidity and flocculent material may be present after thawing or after prolonged\nfreezer and/or refrigerated storage. We recommend that in case of flocculent material or turbidity, to use a GP Express Plus Membrane in combination with a standard 70 mm fiberglass pre-filter for 500ml. bottle top filters.
