ENA78 (Epithelial Neutrophil Activating Peptide) Recombinant, Human

Epithelial Neutrophil Activating Peptide-78 (ENA-78) is a recently discovered chemoattractant and activator for neutrophils, belonging to the IL-8 subgroup of the C-X-C family of chemokines. Human ENA-78 is an 8.0kDa protein containing 74 amino acid residues.\n\nFormulation: Lyophilized protein with no additives. The protein may appear as a haze or film which is difficult to see at the bottom of the vial.\n\nStability: The lyophilized protein, though stable at room temperature, is best stored desiccated below 0 degrees C. Reconstituted human ENA-78 should be stored in working aliquots at -20 degrees C.\n\nPurity: (same/more than) 98% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC\n\nEndotoxin: (same/less than) 0.1ng/ug \n\nReconstitution: The lyophilized ENA-78 is soluble in water and most aqueous buffers. The lyophilized protein can be reconstituted in water to a concentration of 0.1-1mg/ml. It is recommended that further dilutions be made into buffer containing carrier protein or medium containing serum.\n\nBiological Activity: Human ENA-78 produces chemotaxis over a wide concentration range in an assay using human peripheral blood neutrophils.
