SLE is a flavivirus producing severe encephalitis in humans. The viral envelope contains a single glycoprotein serving as a major structural component of the virion spike. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Spleen cells from immunized mice were fused with cells of the SP2/0 Ag 14 myeloma cell line. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
