Endophilin 3, SH3 Domain

Endophilin 3 is a 40kD protein. Unlike endophilin 1 that is expressed in the brain and endophilin 2 that is found in the brain and testis, endophilin 3 shows a more ubiquitous expression pattern. Endophilins have been proposed to play roles in membrane trafficking reactions through interactions with endocytic protein via physical or chemical modifications of the membrane bilayer, particularly in presynaptic vesicle trafficking at nerve terminals.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nELISA (Immunogen): 0.1-1ug/ml\nWestern Blot (Mouse and rat): 1-3ug/ml\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
