Endothelin A Receptor

Endothelins are a family of peptides that are potent vasoconstrictors produced by mammalian vascular endothelial cells. The receptors for the endothelins are found on various tissues including, but not restricted to lung and intestine. This antibody recognizes epitopes on the cytoplasmic region of the receptor. The binding of this antibody does not interfere with the function of the antibody that is, Endothelin A is free to bond to the receptor even if the antibody is present on the receptor.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use inImmunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nImmunofluorescence: 10-20ug/ml\nImmunocytochemistry: 10-20ug/ml using actone-fixed cells\nImmunohistochemistry: 10-20ug/ml using paraffin sections. Dilute antibody in PBS containing 1% nromal rabbit serum. Block sections with 10% normal rabbit serum to inhibit non-specific binding. Perform immunoreactivity step by using a peroxidase-coupled rabbit anti-sheep IgG.\nImmunoprecipitation: 20-40ug.ml\n\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
