Enkephalin is one of several naturally occurring morphine-like substances released from nerve endings of the central nervous system and the adrenal medulla. Enkephalins act as analgesics and sedatives in the body and appear to affect mood and motivation.

Immunohistochemistry (frozen): 1:100-1:400
