Ly-51 is a 140kD protein also known as 6C3/BP-1. It is a homodimeric cell-surface glycoprotein with aminopeptidase A (APA) activity. Ly-51 is expressed on B cell progenitors, bone marrow stromal cell lines, thymic dendritic cells, and cortical epithelial cells. Ly-51 expression can be upregulated by IL-7 stimulation. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: (same/less than)1ug/10e6 cells in 100ul volume Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
