Enterococci form part of the lactic acid bacteria family and are the third most important bacterial genus in hospital infections, especially Enterococcus faecium. In food they can spoil processed meats but they are equally important for ripening and aroma development of certain traditional cheeses and sausages, and are used as human probiotics. However, they possesses a broad spectrum antibiotic resistance which has important implications to human health and disease.

Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and conjugation. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
