c-erbB-3/HER-3 is the third member of the type I family of growth factor receptors. It binds to ligands in the heregulin family. c-erbB-3 is over-expressed in a variety of tumors including breast, stomach, pancreas and colon. Heregulin & EGF stimulate tyrosine phosphorylation of c-erbB-3 to different extents. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 1:100-1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
