ERBB-4 receptor tyrosine kinase is activated by neuregulins, nrg- 2, nrg-3, heparin-binding egf-like growth factor, betacellulin and ntak to regulate cell proliferation and differentiation. Several isoforms of the ERBB-4 receptor tyrosine kinase have been identified and differ functionally in their response to phorbol ester: they represent cleavable and noncleavable forms of the receptor. These isoforms are differentially expressed in tissues. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 30ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Human glomerulus Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
