FAK (Focal Adhesion Associated Protein Tyrosine Kinase, BC3)

Applications: \nSuitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nImmunocytochemistry: 10ug/ml shows positive immunostaining for Fak in Ref 52 cells fixed with 3.7% formaldehyde.\nWestern Blot: 0.5-2ug/ml detects FAK in RIPA lysates from murine 3T3 and previously in human A431 RIPA cell lysate. 3T3 cell lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with F0019-56 (1ug/ml). Proteins were visualized using an IgG (HRP) goat anti-rabbit and a chemiluminescence detection system. \nImmunoprecipitation: 4ug immunoprecipitates FAK from 500ug of murine 3T3 RIPA lysate. \nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nRecommended Secondary Antibodies:\nI1904-39: IgG, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab Gt xRb\nI1904-40A: IgG, H&L, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab Gt xRb\nI1904-46Q: IgG, H&L (HRP) Pab Gt xRb\nI1904-40D: IgG, H&L (FITC) Pab Gt xRb\nI1904-41: IgG, X-Adsorbed (FITC) Pab Gt xRb \nI1904-46N: IgG, H&L (FITC) Pab Gt xRb\n\nPositive Antigen Control: F4209\n3T3 cell lysate; use 20mg per lane for minigels. \n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
