FCRL4/FcRH4, also known as IRTA1(immunoglobulin superfamily receptor translocation associated1), is a member of the Ig superfamily. It shares sequence homology with the classical Fc receptors. FCRL4 is preferentially expressed in B cells and contains three potential ITIM motifs in its cytoplasmic domain. The gene for FCRL4 is localized to the human chromosome 1q 21-23 region, a hotspot for translocation events.
