Fe65 (Amyloid beta A4 precursor protein-binding family B member 1) is an adaptor protein that forms a transcriptionally active comple, Xenopus/Amphibian, with the gamma-secretase-derived amyloid precurson protein (APP) intracellular domain. APP functions as a cystosolic anchoring site that prevents Fe65 nuclear translocation.
