Cat no: F4210-11C

Fibroblast Growth Factor, Basic (FGFb, BFGF, Fibroblast Growth Factor 2, FGF2, Heparin-binding Growth Factor 2, HBGF-2)

Fibroblast Growth Factor-basic (FGF-b or FGF-2) is a heparin binding growth factor which stimulates the proliferation of a wide variety of cells including mesenchymal, neuroectodermal and endothelial cells. FGF-b also exerts a potent angiogenic activity in vivo.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot and RIA. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nImmunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:1200\nImmunohistochemistry (frozen): 1:5000\nWestern Blot: 1:10,000-1:30,000\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C.
