The binding site for clone 1.B.288 is located on the O-antigen polysaccharide chain which consists of tetrasaccharide fragments and has the following structure: (1-4)-alpha-D-GalpNAcAN-(1-4)-alpha-D-GalpNAcAN-(1-3)-beta-D-QuipNac-(1-2)-beta-Quip4NF m- (1). Tetrasaccharide D-GalpNAcAN-(1-4)-alpha-D-GalpNAcAN-(1-3)-beta-D-QuipNAc-(1-2)-beta-D-Quip4NFm and trisaccharide D-GalpNAcAN-(1-3)-beta-D-QuipNAc-(1-2)-beta-D-Quip4NFm compete in ELISA for binding clone 1.B.288 with LPS of Fr. tularensis. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
