Frizzled-4 belongs to the Frizzled family of 7-pass transmembrane proteins and binds to Wnt-8. It is implicated in several developmental processes, notably in retinal angiogenesis.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. \n\nRecommended Dilution:\nFlow Cytometry: 0.1mg/ml and add 10ul of the diluted solution to 1-2.5x10e5 cells in a total reaction volume not exceeding 200ul. The binding of biotinylated monoclonal antibodies may be visualized by adding streptavidin conjugated to a fluorochrome.\nImmunohistochemistry: 10ug/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Frizzled-4 in fixed human HEK293 cells.\nWestern Blot: 1-2ug/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect human/mouse Frizzled-4. The detection limit for rmFrizzled-4 is ~5ng/lane and 25ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions, respectively.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nHybridoma: \nFusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a rat immunized with purified, NS0-derived, recombinant mouse Frizzled-4 (rmFrizzled-4) extracellular Cysteine-Rich Domain\n(CRD).\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
