Frizzled-4 belongs to the Frizzled family of 7-pass transmembrane proteins and binds to Wnt-8. Frizzled-4 is expressed by a variety of tissues. It is implicated in several developmental processes, notably in retinal angiogenesis.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunocytochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nFlow Cytometry: 100ug/ml. Add 10ul to 1-2.5x10e5 cells. Total reaction volume should not exceeding 200ul. \nImmunocytochemistry: 10ug/ml in 4% paraformaldehyde-fixed cells.\nWestern Blot:1-2ug/ml. The detection limit is ~5ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nHybridoma: \nNS0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. \n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
