Members of the 'frizzled' gene family encode 7-transmembrane domain proteins that are receptors for Wnt signaling proteins. The FZD7 protein contains an N-terminal signal sequence, 10 cysteine residues typical of the cysteine-rich extracellular domain of Fz family members, 7 putative transmembrane domains, and an intracellular C-terminal tail with a PDZ domain-binding motif. FZD7 gene expression may downregulate APC function and enhance beta-catenin-mediated signals in poorly differentiated human esophageal carcinomas. \n \nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Peptide ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nPeptide ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1:64,000. \nWestern Blot: 0.3-1ug/ml; Approx 60kD band observed in lysates of cell lines HEK293 and HepG2 (calculated MW of 63.6kD according to NP_003498).\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. \n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
