FZD7, a 574aa protein, is a novel member of 'Frizzled' gene family. These proteins act as transmembrane receptors for Wnt signaling proteins. FZD7 contains an N-terminal signaling sequence, a cysteine-rich extracellular domain, 7 putative transmembrane domains and an intracellular C-terminal tail with a PDZ domain-binding motif. FZD7 participates in cell proliferation through activation of Wnt-beta catenin-TCF pathway. FZD7 gene expression may down-regulate APC function and enhance beta catenin-mediated signals to up-regulate genes associated with cell proliferation in human esophageal carcinomas. Northern Blot analysis detected a ubiquitous expression of FZD7 with high expression in skeletal muscle and fetal kidney.
Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1:100-1:1000
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
