Fructose is the sweetest naturally occurring sugar, estimated to be twice as sweet as sucrose. In BioAssay(TM) Fructose Assay Kit, free fructose is enzymatically processed with the formation of a metabolite which reacts with the to generate fluorescence (Ex/Em = 535/587nm). The kit provides a simple, highly sensitive, reliable method suitable for high throughput assay of D-fructose. Glucose interference can be removed by using the Sample Cleanup Mix. The BioAssay(TM) Fructose Assay Kit can detect fructose in the range of 5-500 picomoles/well.

Storage and Stability:
Store powder at 4 degrees C liquid at -20 degrees C. Store other components at 4 degrees C. Stable for 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
