Fructose BioAssay(TM) Kit

Fructose is a monosaccharide found in many foods and is one of the three most important blood sugars along with glucose and galactose. Fructose is the sweetest naturally occurring sugar, estimated to be twice as sweet as sucrose. In the Fructose Assay Kit, free fructose is enzymatically converted to b-glucose, which is then specifically oxidized to generate a product that reacts with OxiRed Probe to generate color (lambda=570nm) and fluorescence (Ex/Em=535/587nm). The kit provides a rapid, simple, sensitive, and reliable method suitable for high throughput assay of D-fructose.\n\nKit Components:\nFructose Assay Buffer 1x25ml\nOxiRed Probe 1x1vial\nDimethylsulfoxide (DMSO; Dried) 1x0.4ml\nEnzyme Mix (lyophilized) 1x1vial\nFructose Converting Enzyme 1x1vial\nFructose Standard (100mM) 1x100ul.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nStore the kit at -20 degrees C, protect from light. Allow *Assay Buffer to warm to RT before use. Stable for at least 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
