GbL (G protein beta protein subunit-like), also known as mLST8, is a member of the mammalian Target of Rapamycin (mTOR) complex. The complex composed of mTOR, regulatory associated protein of mTOR (Raptor) and mammalian LST8/G-protein b-subunit like protein (mLST8/GbL) is responsible for regulating cell growth and nutrient and growth factor-mediated mTOR signaling. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: HEK293 cell lysate Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
