GPR1 is an Orphan-A GPCR with an unknown ligand. GPR1 was identified in a search for genes responsible for mediating brain reward and may have a role in drug addiction. It has also been shown to act as an HIV coreceptor in kidney mesangial cells (Tokizawa et al., 2000). Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 20-40ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Human kidney Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
