GPR161/RE2 is an Orphan-U GPCR with an unknown ligand. RE2 is a member of the rhodopsin family of G protein-coupled receptors and may aid in the regulation of aggression and appetite. ESTs have been identified in brain, colon, heart/melanocyte/uterus, lung, prostate, and uterus libraries.

Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 4-9ug/ml

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
