GPR17 is an Orphan-A GPCR with an unknown ligand. GPR17 has been reported to be expressed exclusively in brain as 2.3- and 6.3-kb mRNAs (Blasius et al., 1998). ESTs have been isolated from human brain, heart, melanocyte/uterus/fetal heart, and placenta libraries.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 3ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Human transfection-cells expressing vector only
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
