Involved in intra-Golgi traffic. Modulates intra-Golgi transport through coupling between NSF activity and SNAREs activation. It first stimulates the ATPase activity of NSF which in turn stimulates the association with GOSR1. SUBUNIT: Monomer. Interacts with GABRG2, NSF, GOSR1 and beta-tubulin. Interacts with ULK1. \n\nCellular Localization:\nGolgi apparatus. \n\nTissue Specificity:\nUbiquitous. Expressed at high levels in the brain, heart, prostate, ovary, spleen and skeletal muscle. Expressed at very low levels in lung, thymus and small intestine. Belongs to the MAP1 LC3 family.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
