GAPDH (GAPDH, GAPD, Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase, Peptidyl-cysteine S-nitrosylase GAPDH)

The product of this gene catalyzes an important energy-yielding step in carbohydrate metabolism, the reversible oxidative phosphorylation of glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate in the presence of inorganic phosphate and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD). The enzyme exists as a tetramer of identical chains. Many pseudogenes similar to this locus are present in the human genome.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, ELISA.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nWestern Blot: 1:5000~20000\nImmunohistochemistry: 1:1000~10000\nImmunofluorescence: 1:10~50\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
