Gastrin secreting cells are numerous in the antrum and few are found in the proximal duodenum. The antibody can be used for the diagnosis of gastrin producing tumors which are most found in the pancreas and occasionally in the stomach and duodenum.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry (Frozen, paraffin): 1:50 using the indirect method. Dilute immediately before use with PBS or Tris.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
