Homeobox protein GBX-2 may act as a transcription facctor for pluripotency and differentiation in the embryo. It localises to the nucleus. The unprocessed precursor is 348 amino acids long and has an estimated molecular weight of ~37KD. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and direct ELISA. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile 40-50% glycerol, ddH2O. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
