Recombinant Human GCP-2 is an 8kD protein containing 73 amino acid residues. Neutrophil recruitment to inflammatory sites is mediated by two related receptors: CXCR1 and CXCR2. Both receptors share two ligands, interleukin-8 (CXCL8) and GCP2 (CXCL6). GCP2 belongs to the intercrine alpha (chemokine CxC) family. GCP-2 promotes neutrophil chemotaxis and degranulation.\n\nSource: E.coli \n\nForm: Sterile-filtered solution lyophilized without additives. \n\nStability: The lyophilized protein is stable for a few weeks at room temperature, but best stored at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted human GCP-2 should be stored in working aliquots at -20 degrees C. \n\nPurity: (same/more than) 98% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC\n\nEndotoxin: (same/less than) 0.1ng/ug (1EU/ug). \n\nReconstitution: Quick spin followed by reconstitution in water to a concentration of 0.1
