GITRL (Glucocorticoid Induced TNF-Related Ligand, AITRL, Activation-Inducible TNF-Related Ligand, TNFSF18) (Biotin)

GITR Ligand/TNFSF18, also known as AITRL and TL6, is a type II transmembrane protein in the TNF ligand superfamily. GITR Ligand expression on endothelial cells and antigen presenting cells is upregulated following LPS stimulation or viral infection. It binds to GITR/TNFRSF18 and modulates T cell-mediated tolerance and immunity in peripheral tissues. Within the ECD, mouse and human GITR Ligand share 56% amino acid sequence identity.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nELISA (Direct, Sandwich): 0.25-1ug/ml detects human GITRL using 100ul/well. Allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4ng/well.\nWestern Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. The detection limit is 1.5-3ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nRecommended Pair:\nSuitable for use as the detection or conjugate (label) antibody. Matched to G2035-14A as the capture or solid phase antibody.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
