GITRL (Glucocorticoid Induced TNF-Related Ligand, AITRL, Activation-Inducible TNF-Related Ligand, TNFSF18) (Biotin)

GITR Ligand/TNFSF18, also known as AITRL and TL6, is a type II transmembrane protein in the TNF ligand superfamily. GITR Ligand expression on endothelial cells and antigen presenting cells is upregulated following LPS stimulation or viral infection. It binds to GITR/TNFRSF18 and modulates T cell-mediated tolerance and immunity in peripheral tissues. Within the ECD, mouse and human GITR Ligand share 56% amino acid sequence identity.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nFlow Cytometry: 1:1000\nELISA (Direct and Indirect): 1:5000-1:10,000\nWestern Blot: 1:2000-1:5000 (ECL); Suggested blocking and dilution buffer is TBST containing 0.05% Tween-20 and 5% skim milk; Suggested incubation time is 1 hour at RT.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
