Glucoamylase (Biotin)

Glucoamylase is an enzyme preparation which decomposes starch into glucose by tearing-off glucose units from the non-reduced end of the polysaccharide chain. It is derived by submerged fermentation of a specially selected producer strain of Asp. niger.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nELISA: 1:5000-1:75,000; 1ug of Glucoamylase was used in a standard capture ELISA with Streptavidin (HRP) S7973-97A and ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) A0030 as a substrate for 30 minutes at RT.\nWestern Blot: 1:500-1:3000\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
