GRP94 is a 94kD glucose regulated protein (GRP94), also known as tumor rejection antigen (gp96). GRP94 is an endoplasmic reticulum resident molecular chaperone, which is a paralog of cytoplasmic Hsp90. GRP94 assists in the folding of membrane-bound proteins including the Toll-like receptors, certain subclasses of integrins and some secreted proteins such as IgG.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1:1,000
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
