Glutathione peroxidase 2 (GPX2), an extracellular, selenium-dependent, gastrointestinal anti-oxidant enzyme, and member of the glutathione peroxidase family, which plays a major role in glutathione-dependent hydrogen peroxide-reducing activity, in gastrointestinal tract epithelium.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nELISA: 1:32,000\nWestern Blot: 0.5-2ug/ml, observed in human liver lysates on ~24kD bands\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
