GM-CSF, Recombinant, Human, Animal Free (Granulocyte Macrophage Colony Stimulating Factor, AF, CSF-2. Pluripoietin-alpha, MGI1GM)

Granulocyte Macrophage Colony Stimulating Factor (GM-CSF) is hematopoietic factor produced by endothelial cells, monocytes, fibroblasts and T cells in response to a number of inflammatory mediators. GM-CSF is able to stimulate the production of neutrophilic granulocytes, macrophages, and mixed granulocyte-macrophage colonies from bone marrow cells. GM-CSF can also stimulate some functional activities in mature granulocytes and macrophages. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
