GnRH receptor contains seven hydrophobic transmembrane domains connected by hydrophilic extracellular and intracellular loops characteristic of G-protein coupled receptors. GnRH stimulates the gonadotrophs of the anterior pituitary to secrete luteinizing hormone (LH) as well as follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH).
Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions:
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 1:100 for 60 minutes at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM EDTA, pH 8.0, for 10-20 minutes followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control:
Pituitary or normal ovary
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
