Prokineticins are secreted proteins that can promote angiogenesis and induce strong gastrointestinal smooth muscle contraction. The protein encoded by this gene is an integral membrane protein and G protein-coupled receptor for prokineticins. The encoded protein is similar in sequence to GPR73, another G protein-coupled receptor for prokineticins. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Peptide ELISA Titer: 1:32,000 Western Blot: 0.3-1ug/ml detects ~45kD band observed in Human Testis, Human Thyroid Gland and in Rat Stomach lysates (calculated MW of 44kD according to Human NP_658986.1 and 47.9kD according to Rat NP_620434.1) Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
