Glutathione peroxidase 2 (GPX2) is an antioxidant enzyme that is up-regulated in cancer cells. GPX2 plays a major role in protecting mammals from the toxicity of ingested organic hydroperoxides. Sequence: Human GPX2 (aa 1-190) is fused at the C-terminus to a His-tag. Storage and Stability: Short-term Storage: +4 degrees C Long-term Storage: -20 degrees C Working aliquots are stable for up to 3 months when stored at -20 degrees C.
