Granulocyte (BSA & Azide Free)

Granulocytes are a category of white blood cells characterized by the presence of granules in their cytoplasm. They are also called polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMN or PML) because of the varying shapes of the nucleus, which is usually lobed into three segments. In common parlance, the term polymorphonuclear leukocyte often refers specifically to neutrophil granulocytes, the most abundant of the granulocytes. Granulocytes or PMN are released from the bone marrow by the regulatory complement proteins.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nImmunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 2-4ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT. Note: No special pretreatment is required for formalin/paraffin tissues.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control:\nTonsil and lymph node\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
