The ability of G-CSF to stimulate the proliferation/differentiation and function of neutrophil granulocyte progenitor cells and survival of mature neutrophils, has resulted in G-CSF becoming an important factor in patient treatment following allogeneic (bone marrow/stem cell) transplantation and chemotherapy.
To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of hG-CSF (0.5 ng/ml), a concentration of 0.04-0.06 ug/ml of this antibody is required.
Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA, Functional Assays, Immunohistochemistry (paraffin), and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 0.25ug/ml
ELISA: 0.5-2ug/ml
Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml
Functional Assays: 0.4-0.6ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control: Human angiosarcoma
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
