CXCL9, otherwise known as MIG (monokine induced by Interferon-gamma), is a member of the CXC family of chemokine receptors, secreted by interferon stimulated monocytes, macrophages and endothelial cells, which signals through binding to CD183 (CXCR3). CXCL9 acts as a Th1 (type 1 helper T) cell chemoattractant, and plays a role in the growth, activation and movement of cells associated with immune and inflammatory responses, and in tumor growth inhibition.\n\nSource:\nE.coli\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Functional Assays. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nEndotoxin: (same/less than)1EU/ug\n\nMolecular Weight: 11.7kD (103 amino acid residues)\n\nBiological Activity:\netermined by its ability to chemoattract human peripheral blood T lymphocytes using a concentration range of 10-100ng/ml.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile buffer or ddH2O. Aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
