Growth Associated Protein 43 (GAP43, Axonal Membrane Protein GAP-43, B-50, Neuromodulin, Neural Phosphoprotein B-50, pp46)

GAP43 is expressed in neuronal growth cones and some presynaptic terminals, where it may function in axonal growth and synaptic plasticity. This antibody will help detect GAP43 and may be useful in further charac- terizing this protein.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nImmunohistochemistry: 1:20-1:40 for 1 hr at RT\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control: \nNormal adult cerebral cortex (membrane and cytoplasmic staining pattern)\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
